There are five sizes: Standard, Medium, Big, Large, and Extra Large. All are 55 cm deep, with internal heights from 9 cm on Standard up to 51.5 cm on Extra Large, and there is no weight limit. Full dimensions and prices are on the Services page.

Yes, a refundable security deposit applies: AED 250 on yearly plans and AED 500 on monthly plans, refunded when you close your box and return both keys.

Yes. Every box includes insurance underwritten by Lloyd's of London, from AED 100,000 on Standard membership and AED 500,000 on Premium, issued in your own name.

The vault is open every day, 9 AM to 9 PM, including weekends and public holidays. Last entry is 15 minutes before closing.

Security runs in layers. Every box uses dual-key custody, opening only when your personal key and the facility key turn together, so no one, including our own staff, can open it without your key. The vault is steel-reinforced, engineered to withstand extreme conditions, and protected around the clock by seismic, motion and vibration sensors, facial-recognition and fingerprint biometric access, a 24/7 on-site security team, and CCTV with a direct alarm linkage to Sharjah Police. Each box comes with two unique keys, handed to you at setup. They are the only copies in existence, with no duplicate kept on site, which is what keeps your box truly private: it opens only when your key and our facility key turn together, so no one, including our staff, can open it alone. If a key is lost, report it to us immediately; a lost key means the refundable security deposit is forfeited. If both keys are lost, the only way in is to physically drill the box open, a controlled process carried out by a licensed locksmith by appointment and in your presence.

The minimum age to rent is 18. Residents provide their original Emirates ID, and visitors or non-residents provide a valid passport. No UAE bank account or residency visa is required. Companies can rent against a valid trade licence.

Yes. A box can be held as a single, joint, or corporate account. Standard membership includes one authorized nominee and Premium includes two, and companies can rent against a valid trade licence.

You can reserve online: choose your box size and membership, then complete the reservation. Setup is finished in person at the facility, where you register your biometrics and collect your key. It can be completed the same day.

No. Amanat Vaults is not a bank. It is the UAE's first nationally-founded independent safe deposit box facility, Emirati-owned and locally operated, housed within the Dubai Islamic Bank Building in Al Qasimia, Sharjah.

A bank locker is tied to holding an account with that bank, and access follows the bank's own hours and policies. Amanat Vaults is a dedicated independent facility, so a box can be held in your own name without any banking relationship, with access every day from 9 AM to 9 PM and a private viewing room reserved for you.

We are inside the Dubai Islamic Bank Building, Al Nad, Al Qasimia, Sharjah, with reserved parking at the door. The facility is 15 km from Dubai International Airport and 25 km from DIFC, placing it within easy reach of both Dubai and Sharjah.
